ATM EMPLOYEE OF THE MONTHBefore founding ProPoint, we owned a restaurant in Newport, RI.We installed a 24-hour through-wall ATM at our restuarant. If you've owned a retail or restaurant establishment you know there are few things you can depend on.
But we quickly realized the ATM was different. We jokingly referred to it as our best employee - always on time, never talked back, quietly doing it's job with very little effort on our part. Customers loved the convinience and we loved the revenue. We added a few more locations to the portfolio – more great employees. We soon realized it was a business model that worked and one that we were passionate about. We sold the restaurant and turned our attention to ATMs and merchant services full time, expanding beyond ATMs and offering a full range of payment solutions for all business types. Our approach is straightforward and consultative. We work with merchants to understand their business so we can implement solutions, not just sell products. We are one of the few companies who combine such a full suite of services from merchant accounts, check and ACH services to ATM, gift and loyalty programs, allowing ProPoint to provide a tailored solution for each merchant and to work with them as the grow.
